In the event industry we often have brides looking to recreate an inspiration photo from social media. It’s tricky knowing where to start when conceptualizing the look and feel of a special event but furniture and décor brings focus to make your vision come to life.  Over the past year Vision Furniture Event Rentals has expanded our curated event rental inventory (especially lounge pieces) and we feel pretty confident that we can recreate the look and feel of almost any inspo pic – especially with the help of our designer/florist/caterer vendor friends!

LET’S RECREATE A RICH MOD LOUNGE FROM AN INSPIRATION PHOTO:

When bringing your inspiration vision to life, first you have to figure out which parts of the inspiration photo you are looking to flesh out. Is is the color scheme? The shape of the furniture? Or could you be relying too much on the venue as opposed to the décor? In our first recreation photo (above left) we were able to bring together the look and feel of the space by using similar textures, materials, colors and shapes.

By incorporating the curved green velvet chairs, raw wood side tables, red oriental rug and tufted leather couches, we were able to accomplish a rich mod lounge with the same style and feel even though our items aren’t exact matches to the inspiration material.
